Safety Rules for the Internet

1.	I will not give out personal information about myself, my parents or my friends. This means I will not tell anybody my address, phone number, where I go to school. If someone asks me for that information I will tell my parents immediately.
2.	I will tell my parents right away if I come across any information that makes me feel uncomfortable.
3.	I will not make conversation either in an email or chat room about myself. I will never agree to meet with anybody from the internet. If someone does ask to meet with me, I will tell my parents immediately.
4.	I will never send a anyone a picture of myself, my parents, or my firends to anyone else unless I talk with my parents.
5.	I will not answer any messages that are cruel or might cause anybody else any harm. If I do get a messages like that I will tell my parents right away.
6.	I will talk with my parents to set up rules and guidelines for being online. We will decide upon the websites I can visit and how long I can be online. I will not go to other web sites without their permission first.
7.	Passwords are for my use only. They are not for my friends or anybody else except for my parents.
8.	I will not do anything that hurts other people or is against the law.
